The moral of this series is that you really don’t need to spend a lot of money to craft & makr pretty little Christmas Decorations. I happen to have a box of origami paper anyway, so there was zero added investment needed here for me. Some additional instructions! 1. Start with a Square Fold the paper in half horizontally and vertically, then unfold. Fold the paper diagonally in half to make a triangle, then unfold. Repeat the diagonal fold on the other side, creating an βXβ crease. Using the creases, collapse the paper into a smaller square by bringing the horizontal edges together and flattening. 2. Form the Tree Shape Position the square base with the open ends pointing downwards. Take one side flap and fold its outer edge to the center crease, creating a kite shape. Repeat this fold for all the flaps, ensuring symmetry on each side. Cut off the lower sections to give the tree a flat base 3. Create Tree Layers Cut small slits (about halfway in) along the outer edges of the flaps, spacing them evenly. These will form the treeβs branches. Fold each slit downward to form the branches. Simple right? Honestly it’s easy once you know how (haha) & I do like a speedy video. I know I will get SLAMMED for this one being too fast, & I’m truly sorry, but this is how it turned out, I’m super tight on time. Please don’t hate me! I’m mostly here for the ideas & inspiration. Anyway! Back to business, I hope you like this video. I have my trees on my mantelpiece already. π€« I know it’s not December but nearly right??? #origami #origamiart #origamitree #origamidecoration #papercrafts #papercrafting #christmascraft #christmasdecoration #homemadedecorations #craftwithkids #kidscraftideas #cottontwist #craftersgonnacraft #mumsofinstagram #mumsofinsta #crafttime #christmas2024 | CottonTwist | Facebook
